Yangon - Mandalay Railway Improvement Project Phase I

​

The project is to replace and improve the existing railway tracks and bridges between Yangon station to Taungoo station. 12 railway concrete bridges were designed to resist H.M. and UIC20 axle load. Pushover analysis was adopted to analyze the seismic response of the bridge substructures since the bridges are located on the very high earthquake zone.
